Womb City at Fulton County Library ChatGPT in ActionASK CHATGPT: Please tell me about this book, i want a synopsis and genre breakdown. Womb City Tsamaase, Tlotlo ANSWER: **Womb City** by Tlotlo Tsamaase is a genre-blending novel that combines elements of cyberpunk, Africanfuturism, and body horror to explore themes of bodily autonomy, surveillance, and patriarchal oppression. Set in a dystopian future Botswana, the story follows Nelah, a woman constantly monitored by an AI Criminal Behavior Evaluator due to a microchip implanted in her body. In this society, bodies are government-issued resources, and the oppressive system places intense scrutiny on women's bodies, often marking them as potential criminals【6†source】【7†source】. Nelah's life is further complicated by her abusive husband, Elifasi, and her precarious position as a mother-to-be with a baby growing in a government lab. The plot thickens when Nelah accidentally kills a woman, whose vengeful spirit returns to haunt her, forcing Nelah to uncover a dark political conspiracy【6†source】【8†source】. The novel is rich with social commentary, drawing parallels to contemporary issues such as surveillance, misogyny, and class struggles. It also incorporates elements of Setswana mythology, creating a unique and culturally grounded speculative narrative【7†source】. For a more detailed synopsis and to explore the book further, you can visit [Penguin Random House] or other book review sites like [BookBrowse] and [Fantasy Hive]. Worldbuildingis Botswana a real place or just in the novel? and can you describe the city in words I can use for a text to picture prompt? Yes, Botswana is a real place. It is a landlocked country in Southern Africa, known for its stable democracy, rich wildlife, and significant diamond production. The capital city of Botswana is Gaborone. For a text-to-picture prompt describing the city in "Womb City," you might use the following description: "A sprawling dystopian metropolis in a near-future Botswana, where towering skyscrapers made of reflective metal and glass dominate the skyline. The streets are lined with neon signs in multiple languages, flickering holographic advertisements, and heavily armed surveillance drones patrolling overhead. The city is shrouded in a perpetual haze, with narrow alleys and crowded marketplaces juxtaposed against high-tech corporate buildings. Amidst the urban sprawl, traditional Botswanan motifs and structures peek through, blending ancient cultural elements with cutting-edge technology. The atmosphere is tense, with an omnipresent sense of surveillance and control, as citizens navigate through the oppressive and chaotic environment under the watchful eyes of the government." Microsoft Copilot in ActionKrea Ai in ActionThe Main CharacterThis is awesome. Tell me more about Nelah, what does she look like, how does she dress, what is her age and can you describe her in words I can use for a text to picture prompt? Nelah, the protagonist of "Womb City," is a complex character navigating a harsh, dystopian reality. Here is a detailed description based on the novel: **Physical Appearance:** Nelah is a young woman in her early thirties. She has a slender build, reflective of a life under constant stress and surveillance. Her skin is a deep brown, and her expressive eyes convey both determination and weariness. Her hair is often styled in natural twists or braids, a nod to her cultural heritage. **Attire:** Nelah dresses pragmatically, blending functionality with the need to navigate her oppressive environment. She typically wears utilitarian clothing, such as fitted jumpsuits and jackets with multiple pockets, made from durable, weather-resistant fabrics. Her attire is often in muted, earthy tones like olive green, brown, and gray, which help her blend into the urban landscape. She occasionally accessorizes with small, culturally significant items, such as beaded bracelets or a headscarf, that connect her to her roots. **Text-to-Picture Prompt:** "A slender woman in her early thirties with deep brown skin and expressive eyes. Her hair is styled in natural twists or braids. She wears a fitted jumpsuit and a jacket with multiple pockets, made from durable, weather-resistant fabric in muted, earthy tones like olive green and brown. Her attire is practical, reflecting a life of constant vigilance, and she accessorizes with small, culturally significant items such as beaded bracelets or a headscarf." This description encapsulates Nelah's appearance and the essence of her character, making it suitable for generating a visual representation through a text-to-picture prompt. Here's a description for a text-to-music prompt: **Text-to-Music Prompt:** "An intense and atmospheric soundtrack blending cyberpunk and African influences. The music features deep, pulsating electronic beats, synthesizers, and industrial sounds, creating a sense of tension and urgency. Traditional African instruments like the djembe, kora, and marimba are woven into the electronic backdrop, adding a layer of cultural depth. The melodies are haunting and evocative, with occasional use of eerie vocal chants and harmonies. The overall mood is dark and immersive, capturing the dystopian, high-tech world of futuristic Botswana while honoring its rich cultural heritage." This description aims to capture the essence of the novel's setting and themes, providing a rich auditory backdrop that complements the story's atmosphere. Suno Ai

As Queen of Mictlan (the underworld), the goddess Mictēcacihuātl rules over the spirits of the afterlife with her husband, Mictlantecuhtli. The Aztecs recognised death as a natural part of the circle of life. Instead of insulting the dead with mourning or sadness, the lives of the deceased are honoured. This tradition is still continued today in the festival now known as Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), which highlights the very different attitude Mexicans have towards death. It becomes colourful and joyful – a grand celebration of life. Coyolxāuhqui - Right Moon Goddess, Headress with Stars (brothers) in her hair Coyolxāuhqui, "Painted with Bells") is a daughter of the priestess Cōātlīcue ("Serpent Skirt"). She was the leader of her brothers, the Centzon Huitznahuas ("Four Hundred Huiztnaua"). She led her brothers in an attack against their mother, Cōātlīcue, when they learned she was pregnant, convinced she dishonored them all. The attack is thwarted by Coyolxāuhqui's other brother, Huitzilopochtli, the national deity of the Mexicas. Huitzilopochtli tossed Coyolxauhqui's head into the sky where it became the Moon, so that his mother would be comforted in seeing her daughter in the sky every night, and that her scattered brothers became the Southern Star deities The Xiuhcoatl - Background Above Fire Serpent represents blue sky vault Noses bend backwards and decorated with star symbols Sun God Tonatiuh - Head Tonatiuh "Movement of the Sun" was an Aztec sun deity of the daytime sky and ruled the cardinal direction of east. According to Aztec Mythology, Tonatiuh was known as "The Fifth Sun" and was given a calendar name of naui olin, which means "4 Movement". Aztec God Quetzalcoatl - Background Below Quetzalcoatl was related to gods of the wind, of the planet Venus, of the dawn, of merchants and of arts, crafts and knowledge. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. Nahui Ollin - Center Nahui Ollin has been described as the fifth sun over our current world. Nahui Ollin has been described as "the sun (Tōnatiuh) in its four movements. "When the fourth sun ended, Nahui Ollin emerged "from the remnant matter of an earlier age of humanity." I do not recall what drawing tablet Microsoft was selling but they agreed to host a couple of drawing demos. I had never drawn digitally at this point! I have been working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop since 2001/2002 but had not taken the opportunity to draw on the screen. I did own an HP laptop that had a pen enabled screen when I started with Illustrator, but it never occurred to me to draw with it. I do no know why. In any case, those demo days at the Microsoft Store in 2011 were my first time trying to draw digitally. The store had some devices and I remember using a Samsung tablet running windows, I drew on the basic drawing app, I think this was Windows 7. Windows 8 was coming and it was called Metro at that time. Then the Surface drops and I know I want one! By then I had started to work with my Wacom Bamboo tablet and got familiar with current tools enough to realize that the best tablets were the ones that came with a pen. By the time the Surface 3 was on the market, I was ready to buy one at full price. The next year the iPad Pro came to the market and now it was a race for the soul of an artist! Since 2016 I have owned both, the iPad Pro and the Surface Pro 4 and my admiration for both machines is still strong. I do not have a preference of one over the other, however, I do see the value in each machine and their capabilities to help me produce the art I need. I still own a Surface Pro 4, the one on this video is a 16GB RAM, i7 Processor and 500GB SSD. More than enough power to help me with my work in the Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Audition and of course, Sketchable App. Follow my work at @DeltaTangoMike Illustrator, designer, art biz coach and curator. behance.net/dacreativegenius instagram.com/deltatangomike Follow Vector Maestros instagram.com/vectormaestros #SamsungNote10 #SamsungNote5 #DellVenue8 #SurfacePro4 #iPadAir2 #iPadPro #Cintiq21UX #HPprodesk And that means #Windows10 #Android #ios @sketchableapp #AdobeDraw #AdobeSketch #iLikeToDraw #ArtLifeAllDay #DTM #ATL #DigitalArtist #DrawDaily #CreatedWithSurface #MySurface #AztecaModerno #DailyIllustrations #YouTubeLive #Bamboo #Wacom #Adobe #Sketchable Day 6 of 7 Day #DigitalChallenge is all about Adobe Sketch and Adobe Draw, 2 free awesome apps for sketching and drawing that lead to a professional illustration. https://youtu.be/1wH_XHQ-Lz8 I am drawing on 7 different devices on 7 different days. By then I already owned and had tried to draw with, a Bamboo Tablet by Wacom. I say I tried, it was a very rough start to my digital drawing training. As time went on, I admired the iPad from afar and got my hands on a Samsung Note 10 and then a Note 10.1 and discovered how well made the Note was. Eventually, I started collecting devices and aftermarket pens to draw digitally, pens from Adonit and Wacom, but nothing really worked well with the iPad. I’ve had the iPad 2, the iPad Air, the iPad mini and finally: the iPad Pro. Once I heard that Apple was finally releasing the iPad Pro, I was ready to draw with some of the best apps in the App Store including Adobe Draw and Adobe Sketch. I am still enjoying myself! My digital illustration path had not yet started and I knew that drawing on the Note would give me creative freedom at anytime I felt like drawing. I was able to walk into the AT&T store by the time the Note 2 was in stores, and get me a new one since my contract was up. My satisfaction was a bit short lived as every year the smartphone technology has continued to expand to the point that drawing on a phone is not the novelty it once was. Currently I own several Note phones, I collect them really. I want the ability to draw on the go, quick and easy, right out of my pocket. I want to be able to sketch out my ideas before I forget them. And if I use Adobe Draw and Adobe Sketch on the Note and export to Adobe Illustrator then I can finish an illustration for a client! Get you a Samsung Note off craigslist, facebook marketplace, anywhere you can and get to drawing, they are cheap now! Also, the pen I am using is the Bamboo Pen for Samsung Note tablets and smartphones by Wacom. It is worth every penny!
