DRAW DAILY 2017 CHALLENGE

DRAW DAILY 2017 Challenge 
Is it going to feel like work? a little bit. This is what organized Artists do. Challenges are not easy affairs. 

OPEN TO ALL ARTISTS, ALL MEDIUMS, ALL THEMES, ALL COUNTRIES, ALL LANGUAGES, EVERYBODY.

The Challenge:
Draw everyday in the year 2017. 
Draw, Sketch, Illustrate, Design, Paint, choose one, change it up and pick another one, do what you want, but do it everyday. 

Formats:
sketches, inks, unfinished, complete, full color, black and white, monochromatic, bold, thin, tall, short, wide, multimedia, EVERYTHING! 

Mediums: 
Sand, Paper, Chalk, Digital, Traditional, Pencils, Inks, Spray Paint, Acrylics, Canvas, Walls, ANY Medium you like. Even if you change it daily. 

Themes: 
Anything! comic pages, comic art, sequential art, fan art, character concepts, paintings, murals, UI, UX, visual design, illustrations, logos, concept art, backgrounds, gaming art, film, tv, literature, EVERY THING GOES! 

The Purpose:
Sharpen your skills and see your creative skills grow. You will then see your style of art develop and you will recognize what you like about art, what you want to change about your art and get a grip on your artistic talent. 

The Goal:
Have 365 creations and a sense of accomplishment. 

The Process: 
DATE YOUR ART!!! example: Day1, Day 2, etc. 
Save a High Resolution Scan or High Resolution photo of your piece. At the very least, use a smartphone to capture the image in the clearest way possible. 

Motivation:
its ok if you miss a day or two, take your time to catch up but please catch up!

The Vision for early 2018:
“1000+ Drawings: The Draw Daily 2017 Anthology” 
9”x12”, 1,000 pages, 2017 Volume of art featuring a Dozen Artists from the Draw Daily 2017 Challenge. 

“1000+ Drawings: The Draw Daily 2017 Art Exhibit”
Featuring the Sketchbooks of Draw Daily 2017 Challenge artists and the work they produced in the 265 days of 2017.
