How Do Artists Find Sponsors?
LOTS OF HARD WORK.
Nah, Seriously Dan!
I am serious. It takes a lot of work searching for the type of company that shares your vision, It takes time to build the relationship for a company to trust you with money or stuff and it takes a lot of dedication building your brand to get companies to notice the good you do in the community.
Its not easy. There aren't any shortcuts. That's all Im saying.
If you know anything about me, then you know I am the curator of Sharpie Slam 2015, the one event this year that I am in charge of is coming up next week, October 7th, 6-9pm to TechSquare Labs off Spring Street (near the Cheetah Club).
It's been a lot of sweat, lots of emails, phone calls, meetings and lots of meetings! But the show is almost here. Next week. 7 Short Days!
I hope you can make it, show your support for fellow artists as they compete for a grand prize of $500 CASH and a stack of markers to take home.
